The 2020 Polaris Slingshot R is the top-trim open-air roadster in the Slingshot lineup, built for drivers who want full engagement with every mile. It pairs the all-new ProStar 2.0L DOHC four-cylinder—producing 203 HP and 144 lb-ft of torque—with a 5-speed manual transmission for a pure, driver-focused experience. The R adds the widest rubber in the lineup (305/30 R20 rear on 11-inch forged aluminum), standard RIDE COMMAND GPS navigation, Rockford Fosgate audio, and a full active safety suite including ABS with linked front-to-rear braking.

PROSTAR 2.0L DOHC — 203 HP

1997cc 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, purpose-built for the Slingshot. Produces 203 HP at 8,250 RPM and 144 lb-ft (195.2 Nm) of torque at 6,500 RPM. 11.5:1 compression ratio with electronic fuel injection for sharp, linear power delivery through the entire rev range.

5-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION

Close-ratio 5-speed manual gearbox with standard Reverse puts the driver in full control of gear selection. Belt final drive with a 1.77:1 ratio channels power to the single rear wheel cleanly and reliably.

WIDE-STANCE REAR GRIP

The R’s 305/30 R20 rear tire on an 11-inch wide forged aluminum wheel provides the widest contact patch in the Slingshot lineup—planting maximum rubber on the road for confident rear-wheel-drive traction and feel.

FORGED ALUMINUM WHEELS
