The Rotax® 999T is a purpose-engineered 999 cc turbocharged triple-cylinder designed exclusively for the Maverick R platform. Unlike a V-twin or a tuned automotive carry-over, the 999T was built from the ground up to deliver 240 horsepower in a compact, centrally located package that optimizes weight distribution and handling dynamics. Liquid cooling with an integrated intercooler keeps intake charge temperatures controlled under sustained hard acceleration, and the high-performance air filter feeds clean, cool air even in the dustiest conditions.

Fueling is managed by iTC™ EFI (Intelligent Throttle Control with Electronic Fuel Injection) — a fly-by-wire throttle system that allows the DCT and driver-selectable modes to modulate power delivery precisely. Suspension — Race-Spec FOX® PODIUM® RC2 at Every Corner

The Maverick R X RS delivers 25 inches of front travel and an industry-leading 25.5 inches of rear travel through a completely new suspension architecture. The front uses forged aluminum heavy-duty tall knuckle Double A-arm geometry with sway bar, and the rear uses Can-Am’s wide-stance 4-link trailing arm with forged aluminum HD tall knuckle — a design that allows for longer wheel travel without sacrificing lateral stability or body control at speed.

X RS — FOX® 3.0 PODIUM® RC2 Rear Shocks with Bypass

Front: FOX® 2.5 PODIUM® RC2 Piggyback

25 in. (63.5 cm) travel. Dual-speed compression and rebound adjustments + bypass tubes for improved mid-stroke control at speed.
