Shipping Policy

Kezar Performance | Engine & Performance Parts Shipping

At Kezar Performance, we specialize in engines and high-performance components. Because these items require careful handling, crating, and carrier coordination, we’ve outlined our shipping policy clearly below. Please review this information before placing your order.

Shipping Coverage

  • We currently ship within the 50 United States
  • All shipments must be sent to a physical street address
  • We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, U.S. territories, or international destinations at this time

Shipping Costs

  • Free ground shipping on orders over $99.
  • Any applicable freight or residential delivery fees are clearly noted on the product page or provided in a custom quote
  • Expedited shipping is available on select items for an additional charge—please contact us prior to ordering

Shipping Methods

  • Standard orders ship via ground service
  • Engines and large performance components ship via freight carriers and may require a liftgate or commercial delivery location
  • Express or priority shipping must be arranged in advance and may not be available for all engine shipments

Order Processing Time

  • In-stock items are typically processed within 1-3 business days when ordered Monday–Friday during business hours
  • Orders placed after hours, on weekends, or holidays are processed the next business day
  • Engines, custom-built units, special-order parts, or backordered items may require additional handling or lead time
  • Estimated processing times are provided when available, but may vary based on supplier and build status

Estimated Transit Time

  • Standard ground shipments usually arrive within 3–5 business days after shipment
  • Freight and engine shipments vary by destination and carrier, typically 3–7 business days once picked up
  • Orders placed on weekends may add 1–2 extra business days

Tracking Information

  • Tracking details are emailed once your order ships
  • Freight shipments may include both tracking and carrier contact information
  • You can also log into your Kezar Performance account to view order status

Multiple Shipping Addresses

Some orders can be split and shipped to multiple locations.
Please contact us before checkout so we can review feasibility.

Oversized & Engine Shipments

  • We ship crate engines, long blocks, short blocks, and large engine components regularly
  • Freight deliveries to residential addresses may require a liftgate fee
  • Commercial delivery locations are recommended to reduce shipping costs
  • Customer is responsible for ensuring delivery access at the destination

Hazardous Materials

We do not ship hazardous or restricted materials, including:

  • Racing fuel
  • Certain chemicals or fluids

Incorrect Shipment

If we ship an incorrect item:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We will arrange a correction or replacement as quickly as possible

Address Changes

  • If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to update the shipping address
  • Once shipped, address changes must be handled directly with the carrier and are not guaranteed

Lost or Missing Shipments

  • Once a shipment is marked delivered, responsibility transfers to the recipient
  • We recommend someone be present at delivery, especially for freight or engine shipments
  • If a shipment cannot be located:
    1. Check around the delivery area
    2. Confirm with neighbors or property management
    3. Contact the carrier directly

If necessary, a carrier claim may be filed. Claims can take up to 30 days to resolve. Replacement orders must be repurchased while a claim is under review.

Refused Shipments

  • Refusing delivery may result in a restocking fee
  • We must be notified within 24 hours of refusal
  • We strongly recommend accepting delivery and requesting a return authorization instead

Shipping Damage

  • Visible damage at delivery: Refuse the shipment and notify us and the carrier immediately
  • Damage discovered after delivery: Contact the carrier and notify Kezar Performance within 24 hours

Damage claims reported after 24 hours cannot be accepted—no exceptions.
